The Young Inventor program is for primary school students in Grades 3 to 6 which aim at getting students to think and invent without the fear of failing but to learn from it and re-invent. Students are provided with electronics and robotics tools which don’t just serve as tools but are there to engage, educate and inspire. Students are often very encouraged when they discover their own creativity and the Young Inventor series is designed to encourage them to code and build robots and other electronic tools and try their hand at creative engineering solutions to given missions. A true STEM education driven program.

Course Description: RoboSENSEsation Challenge (Robotics Module)

Prerequisite: No prior robotics experience required. Good attitude to learning.

This popular robotics module, RoboSENSEsation Challenge uses a revolutionary robotics tool which will get students to unleash their imagination and focus on how robots work. Fun and unique, students have been thoroughly engaged with this innovative and unusual robot, itself a RoboSENSEsation! Students will assemble robots using innovative blocks which connect together vertically, horizontally or even diagonally – not all as easy as it looks but a great learning curve for kids. In the process, students will learn about robotics parts such as DC motors, Studuino, Touch Sensors, Infrared Sensors and to take control of their robot.

RoboSENSEsation is suitable for students who have never done robotics before as well as for those who have experience with robots and would like to further develop their knowledge and skills – practice just makes it better! A module which ranks high on engagement and has sold out every season since its launch!

Course Description: Developing Android Apps

Prerequisite: No prior experience in robotics required. No prior experience in coding required. Student should come with a positive attitude to learning new technology.

Developing Android Apps is the foundation course on the pathway to learning more advanced apps development from our expert faculty. Using intuitive tools, this course blends theory and practice to help you build great apps the right way. In this course, you’ll work with an instructor step-by-step to build a cloud-connected Android app and learn the best practices of mobile development and Android development in particular.

We have class sizes up to a maximum of 12 students per instructor. At INNOVATE TECH CAMPS, we want each student to develop their passion in technology and their leadership skills. Our instructors are passionate about technology and bringing out the best in our students.

Our technology curriculum is based on a blended learning strategy. We couple live one-on-one instruction with our academy game plan, our innovative learning engine, to provide you with properly paced learning. Most of our courses at innovate tech camps are for beginner through advanced students.

Our instructors are all adults with a passions for technology, robotics and coding. We have a wide array of skills among our instructors who are all experienced in teaching technology modules around Australian schools. All our staff have valid Working with Children Checks and are dedicated to helping your child achieve their best.

At Innovate Tech Camps, we want our students to have fun and learn. We love innovation and technology and we hope to continually make it an engaging experience for our students. Sometimes, we bring in our other robotic friends and hold competitions within our camps – all for the fun and love of technology and robotics.

8.45am-9.00am: Check-in. All students meet for morning announcements, ice breakers, and team-building activities.

9:30am: Students will gather in their respective course groups. Get started!

Breaks are taken at the discretion of each instructor.

12.00pm: Lunch time & Play

12.50 pm: Students will gather back in their respective course groups. Back to creating and learning!

3:00pm: Home Sweet Home
