Advanced Systems Robotics Academy

Program Description

The Advanced Systems Academy offers an in-depth exploration of robotics and mechatronics, ideal for high school students interested in technology and preparing for university. No prior experience is required, but students must actively participate and collaborate as a team.

Participants will work with advanced robotics systems, including circuits, electronics, Artificial Intelligence, Arduino-based systems, and VEX Robotics. Students can also engage in Competitive Robotics through the annual VEX Robotics Competition.

VEX Code, a cornerstone of many advanced placement courses, is taught alongside the engineering-driven VEX Robotics System. To fully benefit from the academy’s offerings, a minimum one-year commitment is recommended.

"Thank you, Gary and Sue, for motivating the kids all the way to the Nationals. You both have done a superb job by providing additional classes for the competitions and separate training for the Nationals. When we sent George for training, never thought we will make it to Nationals- It’s a lot of hard work from both of you and the kids. A big thanks for your inspiration, support and guidance."

"Thanks so much Sue. Being there for Reesa as a role model and mentor in her formative years means a lot. Having a strong female in this field is something both Prasetha and I are very grateful to have for Reesa in particular."
