Game Coding Academy

Program Description

Game Coding Academy: Where Young Creators Build, Code, and Play
Looking for a coding program for your child after school? Unlock your child’s creativity and future-ready skills at the Game Coding Academy after school program! Designed for aspiring game developers, coders and curious minds, our program guides students through the exciting world of coding, game design, and digital creation—with Minecraft Education as a launchpad. There are new levels to discover each term and every student can join whether they have prior experience or not. Each student experiences individual coding experiences in addition to group activities.

What Students Experience:

  • Hands-On Coding: Learn to code using Minecraft Education and a range of popular game development platforms.
  • Game Design & Development: Build original games from concept to launch, enhancing computational thinking and digital literacy.
  • Collaborative Learning: Work alongside like-minded peers, share ideas, and make new friends while creating and testing games together.
  • Real Results: Experience the thrill of seeing your own games come to life—and play games made by others in the community.
  • Continuous Growth: Progress through increasingly advanced challenges as skills develop, keeping learning fresh, fun, and engaging.

Why Minecraft Education? Minecraft Education is more than a game—it’s a powerful, game-based learning platform that builds STEM skills, sparks creativity, and fosters teamwork and problem-solving. Students learn by doing, experimenting, and collaborating, making every session both educational and exciting.

Safe and Purposeful Learning At Innovate Technology & Robotics Academy, we use Minecraft: Education Edition, not the regular gaming version. This platform is designed by Microsoft specifically for schools and learning, with no public servers or unsafe content. Students work on guided coding, STEM, and teamwork challenges in a secure environment. It’s not gaming time — it’s creative learning time that builds problem-solving, collaboration, and digital skills safely.

Who Should Join? Game Coding Academy is perfect for students who:
  • Are interested in coding, technology, or game design
  • Want to learn in a fun, supportive, and social environment
  • Are ready to take their digital skills to the next level.

Ready to level up your coding and game-making skills? Join Game Coding Academy and let the fun and learning begin!
