This Privacy Policy describes how Innovate Technology & Robotics Academy ("ITRA", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Parent/guardian contact details (name, email, phone, postal address)

Student details (name, age, year level, school)

Program preferences, attendance and progress records

Emergency contact and relevant medical/accessibility information

Payment and billing information (processed securely via third-party providers)

Photos or video from classes and events (only with parental consent)

Website usage data (cookies, analytics, IP address, device/browser)

3. How we collect information

We collect personal information directly from you when you enrol, contact us, book a starter session, subscribe to our newsletter, or interact with our website. We may also receive information from partner schools where we deliver in-school programs.

To communicate with parents about classes, progress and events
To process payments and issue receipts
To respond to enquiries and provide support
To improve our programs, learning platform and website
To comply with legal, safety and child-protection obligations

5. Children's privacy

Our programs are designed for students aged approximately 8–18. We collect information about students from a parent or legal guardian. Student accounts within Innovate Forge and Innovate Cloud Campus are created and managed under parental consent, and are limited to learning-related data only.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with:
  • Mentors and staff delivering your child's program
  • Trusted service providers (payment processing, email, hosting, analytics)
  • Partner schools, only where relevant to in-school programs
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect safety

7. Data security and storage

Information is stored on secure servers and protected by industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews. Some providers may store data outside Australia; where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure equivalent protection.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic and improve user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser, although some parts of the site may not function correctly.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you or your child. You may also withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.

10. Photos and media

We may take photos or short videos in class for educational and promotional use. We will only publish identifiable images of students with explicit parental consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
