Minecraft  is popular with kids of all ages. It is a very versatile environment which allows students to be creative. They learn to develop their creative skills and collaborate with others. They also develop their engineering skills in a fun environment as they continue to build, learn and play.
Innovate Academy students use Minecraft: Education Edition in our academy coding classrooms because it gets kids engaged and motivated, and because it’s such a flexible platform for  exploring their creativity.
Minecraft is a well loved game  by students which teaches them a lot of topics ranging from fractions and boolean logic to deforestation and urban planning among others. Students can learn a variety of subjects by making, creating and storytelling  using Minecraft and so much more.
Minecraft also has coding which engages students and makes them want to learn more. Students use code to make structures and to create their own little games. Students are challenged on their programming, problem solving and computational thinking skills as they venture into loops, sequencing, variables, conditionals etc.
The Minecraft: Education Edition enables students to be as creative as they can and teaches them how to code. All in all, a fun course for the Minecraft fan or anyone who is interested to learn!
