What you need to know

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

  • Each student must bring their own device to class every week — either a Windows laptop or an Apple iPad.
  • ITRA is unable to provide spare devices if a student forgets to bring theirs.
  • Missed lessons cannot be made up with a replacement device.

Innovate Forge Included

  • Already includes access to the Innovate Forge Digital Infrastructure & learning ecosystem.
  • Secure access to structured coding pathways, robotics reflection journals, assessment frameworks and certification tracking.
  • Project portfolio archiving and AI-supported practice environments designed for long-term mastery.

Prerequisites & Expectations

  • No prior experience in robotics, coding or technology is required.
  • Open only to students in Year 3 to Year 6 from Mount View Primary School.
  • Students should be able to attend classes diligently and work independently.
  • Students must follow the structured curriculum and participate in all classroom activities.
  • Positive behaviour is required to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment for everyone.
  • Recommended Commitment & Flexible Enrolment

    • A minimum one-year enrolment is advised to gain the full benefit of the curriculum.
    • Students may join at the beginning of any term — each term features unique projects and learning experiences.

    Program Key Terms for Enrolments & Renewals

  • This is a No Refund program — please consider carefully before enrolling. Any refunds are at the sole discretion of ITRA and incur a $20 admin fee.
  • Bookings/renewals for every term can be done on this page.
  • Fees can be paid anytime during the current term for the next term, before the due date.
  • Fees must be paid in full before a student can enter the program every term.
  • Students must not attend class if unwell — contact the academy for a make-up session.
  • Public holidays are made up with either an extra lesson or session hours added on, decided by ITRA.
  • No parent/guardian is permitted to stay in the classroom — the program promotes independent learning.
  • Refer to notices from ITRA for make-up lessons and session changes during the term.
  • Device Hire (In-Class Use Only)

    A dedicated device for your child to use during scheduled classes — fully set up and maintained by our team.

    Innovate Forge — Self-Paced Learning

    A flexible track for students who want to learn at their own pace, with structured guidance from our educators. Built on the Innovate Forge digital infrastructure — structured pathways, project portfolios, certification tracking and AI-supported practice environments.

    • 2 live mentor sessions per term — one at the start to set goals, one at the end to review progress.
    • Daily online chat support with educators, every weekday from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.
    • Structured coding pathways, project portfolios and certification tracking inside the Forge platform.
    • AI-supported practice environments designed for long-term mastery.

    What's included each term

    2 live mentor sessions

    A goal-setting session at the start of term and a progress-review session at the end — delivered live by an Innovate educator.

    Daily online chat support

    Get unstuck fast — chat with an educator every weekday during support hours.
