What you need to know

Bring Your Own Device (Optional)

  • Students are encouraged to bring a Windows laptop or Apple iPad weekly.
  • If unable to bring their own, class laptops are provided for group work (this module only).
  • Innovate Forge Included

  • Already includes access to the Innovate Forge Digital Infrastructure & learning ecosystem.
  • Includes robotics reflection journals, certification tracking and project portfolio archiving.
  • AI-supported practice environments designed for long-term mastery.
  • Prerequisites & Expectations

  • No prior robotics experience required.
  • Open only to MVPS students in Year 1 to Year 6.
  • Students should attend diligently and work independently.
  • Positive behaviour is required to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Recommended Commitment

  • Minimum one-year enrolment is advised for full benefit.
  • Students may join at the start of any term — each term features unique projects.

    A flexible track for students who want to learn at their own pace, with structured guidance from our educators. Built on the Innovate Forge digital infrastructure — structured pathways, project portfolios, certification tracking and AI-supported practice environments.

    • 2 live mentor sessions per term — one at the start to set goals, one at the end to review progress.
    • Daily online chat support with educators, every weekday from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.
    • Structured coding pathways, project portfolios and certification tracking inside the Forge platform.
    • AI-supported practice environments designed for long-term mastery.

    A goal-setting session at the start of term and a progress-review session at the end — delivered live by an Innovate educator.

    Daily online chat support

    Get unstuck fast — chat with an educator every weekday during support hours.
