Robot IQ Robotics Academy
Program Description
Love building robots, exploring how things work, solving problems, and developing core values? Then the Robot IQ Robotics Academy is the program for you! This popular academy is ideal for STEM enthusiasts looking to deepen their robotics knowledge or beginners eager to learn a complex yet fascinating system.
Students will work with smart motors, sensors, gears, chains, tank treads, shafts, pulleys, and more, gaining hands-on engineering experience. They’ll also learn coding with VEX CODE, a widely-used programming language, laying the foundation for robotics competitions, college, university, and future careers.
In addition to building skills, students will participate in fun challenges, Innovate’s Robotics Competitions, and external events. Throughout the year, they’ll take on exciting projects and advanced engineering challenges as part of Innovate’s curriculum.
With an interactive learning environment, the academy helps students develop critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while fostering friendships and offering a comprehensive STEM education. To fully benefit from the academy’s offerings, a minimum one-year commitment is recommended.

*These modules take place over the course of the academic year and each term will have its own set of varying tasks and projects.
Prerequisite: Suitable for students who have a keen interest in technology, robotics and computer science. No prior experience is required. Positive attitude in the classroom is expected and student should follow the given curriculum and activities.
Students may join the program at the start of any term of the year as different projects are done each term.

- Bookings/Renewals for every term can be done on this page.
- Fees can be paid anytime during the current term for the next term before the due date.
- Fees must be paid in full before a student can enter the program every term.
- Student must not attend class if unwell and contact the academy for an online alternative or a credit.
- Public holidays are made up with either an extra lesson or session hours added on which will be decided by Innovate Academy.
- No parent / guardian is permitted to stay in the classroom as the program promotes independent learning.
- Refer to notices from Innovate Academy for make up lessons and session changes during the term, if applicable.
