Position: Associate Trainer (Holiday Programs) – Australia (Melbourne)

Job Ref: ATAHP

Work Hours: During the Melbourne school holidays (8.30am to 3.00pm. Number of days is dependent on the course)

  • Possess coding skills (eg.Java, Python, C++, HTML for coding courses)
  • Has some robotics experience (eg, Arduino, Mindstorms etc for robotics courses)
  • Enjoys working with children and helping them problem solve
  • Has good core values and willing to follow Innovate Academy’s coaching and training methods
  • A positive personality and able to work with the team on various holiday programs and projects
  • Patient with children
  • Able to report to work on time and keep to the work schedule given

Position: Coding Instructor (Part Time) – Australia (Melbourne)

Work Hours: Tuesday afternoons from 4.15pm to 7.45 pm.

Position: Assistant Instructor (Casual / Part Time)  – Australia (Melbourne)

Work Hours: 2 hours 3.20pm to 5.20pm, Wednesday and / or Thursday afternoons during school terms.

Location: Innovate Centre in Glen Waverley

We are looking for a Assistant Instructor to help out in our STEM classrooms. This position requires a weekly commitment after school hours, once a week for the year (each term). Please see job description and hours. Suitable for candidates seeking work experience (Age 18 and over).

  • Has a valid Working with Children Check (for paid work /not a volunteer WWC check or will apply for one if offered this position)
  • Enjoys working with children and is patient with them
  • Able to provide support to the Lead Instructor in the classroom
  • Enjoys and has a passion for STEM subjects
  • Basic coding or robotics experience is preferred however on the job training is provided
  • Has good values and willing to follow Innovate Academy’s coaching and training methods
  • A fun and positive personality who is able to work with the team on a weekly basis
  • Able to carry robotics equipment from transport to the classroom and back
  • Set up and take down equipment in the classroom
  • Support students in their work in the classroom
  • Able to report to work punctually every week and follow the work schedule
  • Must provide two character references (relatives not included)
