Innovate Technology and Robotics Academy (ITRA) is the founder of VEX Robotics in Australia. The VEX Robotics program was introduced by ITRA in Australia in 2013 and many schools in Victoria, Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales began their journey into the VEX Robotics world by introducing VEX Robotics into their STEAM curriculum under training and development programs conducted by ITRA.
ITRA has held VEX and VEX IQ Robotics Competitions for primary and high school students as well as government and independent schools through game seasons.ITRA has also coached and sent teams to local and interstate tournaments as well as Asia Pacific Robotics Championships and the VEX World Championships in the USA.
Most notably, ITRA co-organized the Asia Pacific Robotics Championships in 2015 which was attended by more than 200 international and Australian teams which was held at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
VEX Robotics
Filled with different games and challenges year after year, VEX robotics spices up your STEAM curriculum especially for high school students who are interested in mechanisms, robot, full on exploration and problem solving! VEX adds interest and value to your school’s robotics program and competitive robotics even more so!
VEX IQ Robotics
VEX IQ robotics is for primary school students all the way till Year 8. VEX IQ robotics has different sets of games every year, each year, a new challenge to work on and take students thinking to a higher level.
